Call for Posters

The Pervasive 2011 Posters track offers a concise format to contribute novel ideas and late-breaking research findings in pervasive computing technologies, systems, and applications, and for sharing ideas and challenges in a discussion-oriented forum during the conference. In addition, posters may summarize interesting on-going research projects in a compact format.

Authors of accepted posters will be given the opportunity to promote their contribution during a special poster session and reception scheduled in the main conference program. Posters will be presented throughout the conference. A best poster will be selected based on votes of the conference attendees to receive the Pervasive 2011 Poster Award.

We welcome contributions (max. 4 pages, LNCS format) by the poster submission deadline, including but not limited to the following topics:

Submission and review process

Poster submissions should be max. 4 pages in LNCS format, and include:

  1. an abstract (1000 characters) that will be used to advertise the work on the website,
  2. a motivation/background section, providing relevant details of the work,
  3. and a results/further work section with at least two illustrations (diagrams, pictures, schematics, etc.) that provide an overview on essential findings and/or original concepts as they shall appear on the poster.

Authors of poster abstracts are requested to follow the following guidelines:

Submissions will be reviewed by at least two members of the Pervasive 2011 Poster committee after their conformance to the above mentioned guidelines was confirmed. Accepted contributions will be published in the Pervasive 2010 Adjunct Proceedings on a USB stick and the abstract made available on the website.
